Carpe Diem EP is the result of MIICHII’s own way of expressing his ideas and emotions through the sound of techy synths, melodic arpeggios and upbeat rhythms. His approach on this EP focused on telling a story with the synth being the main character, while pianos and wind instruments served as accompaniment. This EP displays a rather enigmatic environment, puting the listener in a bubble filled with mysterious sound waves and obscure passages.

PRESS RELEASE:
MIICHII is a Miami based DJ and Producer who recently got a lot of attention from the scene with his releases on Wayu Records and Pipe & Pochet. He joins AVM with ‘Carpe Diem’ and ‘Solas’, two beautifully crafted originals.

Carpe Diem is a lyrical tale defined by shiny melodic bells and creatively used vocals. Exquisitely progressive, this track is for the dreamers who like enchanting melodies and emotional chord progressions.

Solas reaffirms MIICHII’s elaborate sound signature and conveys the imagery of a wild jungle, carefully laid down with the pan flute and ethnic percussions. Melodic arpeggios give an entailing feel to the track, making sure nobody keeps a stiff upper lip.

Remixes are produced by core artist Anatolian Sessions and Sander who recently premiered his new Live Set in Paris. Anatolian Sessions’ slower rendition of Solas stays true to MIICHII’s vision while offering an hypnotic drive. 
Sander’s interpretation of Carpe Diem carries an exquisite melancholia and will uplift any outdoor crowd this summer.
