It was half produced half in Barcelona and half in Pional's studio in Madrid. We made three sessions of recordings during 2011 and in fact it's the track that took most time to finish in the album. Pional played some keys too and some percussions, he's the best :)

In the southern Indian Ocean all hell has broke loose recently. Some weeks ago the cyclone Dumile lashed the island La Réunion. But in the eye of the storm Alex Barck also sweeps one stormer after the other towards club land. For his second preliminary 12“ of his upcoming solo album („Reunion“) this time he invited the Swedish exceptionally gifted singer Jonatan Bäckelie aka Ernesto.

“Don’t Hold Back” is an incredibly euphoriant dancefloor anthem – that contrary to its title – celebrates the coitus interruptus until it hurts. Or is this how the infamous quiet before the storm feels like?

MIXTAPE 3 - FLASH IN MONTE CARLO

Boris Dlugosch is a house music producer from Germany. Early in his career he enjoyed success working with Mousse T under the name Booom!, the result being 'Hold Your Head Up High' and 'Keep Pushing' which both became massive international club hits.

In 1999 he remixed Moloko's 'Sing It Back' turning it into a worldwide hit. As a thank-you, vocalist Roisin Murphy offered to sing on a track for Boris; That track was 'Never Enough' and it hit #16 in the UK Singles Chart in 2001. We're now pleased to announce the long-awaited follow-up, 'Look Around You', which will be released on Cr2 Records in July. 

We're sure that the combination of Dlugosch's production and Murphy's unique voice will once again rise to the top.
