This is a works in progress track im currently working on. Keeping the sound on the authentic tip with this one . Will be intresting to see how this turns out with minimal digital processing at mixdown stage like the old days (thou unfinished as of yet). Comment honestly and enjoy. I was into grunge from '92  - '99, though if I could go back in time I'd enjoy breakbeat rave and piano hardcore and probably would have been a part of that scene.

I like listening to *skool, breaks, Drum and Bass, Jungle, Future Jungle tunes. I didn't start liking this genre until I heard it on the Amiga! I never owned one of those computers, as my parents bought me a PC instead, but I downloaded my first MOD from America Online filesearch back in 1994 and I really enjoyed the juxtaposition of 4-channel simplicity yet still complex beats. I didn't re-discover the genre until 2008 when I found mazemod.org and listened to chiptunes. Also fond of Reggaeton (the synth). Things really took off when I discovered Mono netlabel and listened to H0ffman's "Mono: A Retrospective in 4 channels". Mortimer Twang, Substance, "ISO - We're Here" . Great stuff! 

I like this kind of music because it brings me back to the days when I was a kid in the summer playing video games on those hot summer nights. I'd come across a screen with music I liked and would just leave it there playing on loop. Front Mission 3  / Ace Combat 3 comes to mind. I like this genre because it reminds me of futuristic things.

Was introduced to jungle from a very VERY early age!......Been with it ever since! OneLove!

Music lover that found a passion for atmospheric DnB and Jungle in the early Florida rave scene (94-97). After being introduced to Bukem’s legendary mix “Logical Progression” and Metalheadz “Platinum Breaks V1” around 97 I was forever connected with the deep musical hardcore vibes emerging from the UK underground.

I began Djing at the first Jacksonville DnB weekly, Protocol, and seminal Orlando weekly Torque where the UK sounds were  first introduced to Florida by forward thinking Djs playing in small back rooms and usually on shitty sound systems. Through the years I’ve had the pleasure of Djing alongside many quality producers/Djs including LTJ Bukem, Ed Rush, Big Bud, and Ak1200.

Now based in Seattle I’ve turned my energy into bringing back the classic soulful sounds and deep rhythms of atmospheric Jungle/DnB, while also exploring the harder breaks and experimental edits being championed by SciWax, Deep Jungle, Rupture, etc.

I have a huge collection of old skool vinyl that spans all genres of this music and I love to create mixes that capture the diverse sounds that the DnB format allows you to explore. I’m also a lover and collector of dub, roots reggae, jazz, and old skool hip hop, which are the foundations of most underground Bass music styles played today.
