*About:

Andrei Bucureci – Lil Obeah is a curator, musicologist, art director and entrepreneur with over 10 years of experience in radio, music and art. His portfolio includes various projects such as Tunesinourheads, Abator Industries, Crowd Control, Creionetica, Black Rhino Music, Black Rhino Radio and A4Activism. Bucharest has been a collaborator of Radio Guerrilla, Electronic Beats by Telekom, Metropotam and is a graduate of architecture, art and design. Andrei recently launched his solo debut album Lil Obeah From Transylvania, this time under his latest moniker Lil Obeah.

The Sound of Art to Come Records is his and his partners Cristiana Bucureci project, a Transylvanian platform, publishing house and record label, where dub, electronic and experimental artists from all over the world come together. From the depths of Romania, Andrei and Cristiana offer monthly a unique selection of works of art, collages, music and remixes inspired by the intersection between Pop Art, multiculturalism and horror movie soundtracks.

Bucureci Lil Obeah also host a monthly show on Black Rhino Radio called Everyday Is Halloween with sessions dedicated to Jamaican music and dub, reggae and bass music sounds all over the world inspired by Horror films, concepts, art and a certain dark spooky haunting aesthetic. It may sound strange but Everyday Is Halloween focuses on the special sound that bridges the gap between pop art culture, comic books and Caribbean culture.

These mixes aim to be similar to a pirate Eastern EU radio show from another dimension, ranging from weird experimental authentic local dub to traditional reggae-dub with ska and rock influences. The music featured on the show is from across the decades since the 1950’s to present Halloween days.

This Everyday Is Halloween Asymetrics Mixtape features exclusive remixes and never-heard-before original songs from the Sound of Art to Come renegade Transylvanian label and inspirational tunes.

Guinea Conakry has a rich musical history, especially after the country’s independence in 1958 which allowed decades of beautiful music to flourish across the country.

The Syliphone record label has allowed many talented orchestras to record their music, constituting now an invaluable cultural heritage.

Guinean Music is fantastic and clearly unique : a blend of traditional, West-African and Afro-Cuban music. 

Beyond their typically deep, funky and groovy music, Guinean orchestras have also played Latin music, covering Cuban songs the Guinean way. 

The result is breathtaking....

°llegó 1976, cuando este joven de 27 años compuso y grabó, en su pequeño comedor convertido en estudio, mediante una grabadora de 8 pistas y arcaicos instrumentos la obra en 6 secciones llamada Oxygène. Este disco es la obra con la cual se indentifica a Jarre, en especial el tema Oxygene 4. Fue todo un evento, éxito de ventas en todo el mundo, y comenzaba a escribirse una nueva época de la música mundial, aquella donde se rompían los mitos de que la electrónica no era aceptada, y en la cual se consideraba a los sintetizadores no como instrumentos musicales, sino como elementos de experimentación.

Два барана
Застучали в ворота:
Тра-та-та и тра-та-та!

«Эй вы, звери, выходите,
Крокодила победите,
Чтобы жадный Крокодил
Солнце в небо воротил!»

Но мохнатые боятся:
«Где нам с этаким сражаться!
Он и грозен, и зубаст,
Он нам солнца не отдаст!»

И бегут они к Медведю в берлогу:
«Выходи-ка ты, Медведь, на подмогу,
Полно лапу тебе, лодырю, сосать,
Надо солнышко идти выручать!»

Но Медведю воевать неохота:
Ходит-ходит он, Медведь, круг болота,
Он и плачет, Медведь, и ревёт,
Медвежат он из болота зовёт:

«Ой, куда вы, толстопятые, сгинули?
На кого вы меня, старого, кинули?»

А в болоте Медведица рыщет,
Медвежат под корягами ищет:
«Куда вы, куда вы пропали?
Или в канаву упали?
Или шальные собаки
Вас разорвали во мраке?»

И весь день она по лесу бродит,
Но нигде медвежат не находит.
Только чёрные совы из чащи
На неё свои очи таращат.

Тут Зайчиха выходила
И Медведю говорила:
«Стыдно старому реветь —
Ты не заяц, а Медведь.
Ты поди-ка, косолапый,
Крокодила исцарапай,
Разорви его на части,
Вырви солнышко из пасти,
И когда оно опять
Будет на небе сиять,
Малыши твои мохнатые,
Медвежата толстопятые,
Сами к дому прибегут:
«Здравствуй, дедушка, мы тут!»

И встал
Медведь,
Зарычал
Медведь,
И к Большой Реке
Побежал
Медведь.

А в Большой Реке
Крокодил
Лежит,
И в зубах его
Не огонь горит —
Солнце красное,
Солнце краденое.

Подошёл Медведь тихонько,
Толканул его легонько:
«Говорю тебе, злодей,
Выплюнь солнышко скорей!
А не то, гляди, поймаю, —
Пополам переломаю, —
Будешь ты, невежа, знать
Наше солнце воровать!
Ишь разбойничья порода:
Цапнул солнце с небосвода
И с набитым животом
Завалился под кустом
Да и хрюкает спросонья,
Словно сытая хавронья.
Пропадает целый свет,
А ему и горя нет!»

Но бессовестный смеётся
Так, что дерево трясётся:
«Если только захочу,
И луну я проглочу!»

Не стерпел
Медведь,
Заревел
Медведь,
И на злого врага
Налетел
Медведь.

Уж он мял его
И ломал его:
«Подавай сюда
Наше солнышко!»

Испугался Крокодил,
Завопил, заголосил,
А из пасти
Из зубастой
Солнце вывалилось,
В небо выкатилось!
Побежало по кустам,
По берёзовым листам.

Здравствуй, солнце золотое!
Здравствуй, небо голубое!

Стали пташки щебетать,
За букашками летать.
Стали зайки
На лужайке
Кувыркаться и скакать.

И глядите: медвежата,
Как весёлые котята,
Прямо к дедушке мохнатому,
Толстопятые, бегут:
«Здравствуй, дедушка, мы тут!»

Рады зайчики и белочки,
Рады мальчики и девочки,
Обнимают и целуют косолапого:
