Nel settembre del 2007 dj Gruff chiama a raccolta alcuni tra i più noti Mc's, DJ e produttori da tutta Italia per dar vita ad un progetto unico nel suo genere: Viene e va, un "work in progress" scaricabile gratuitamente diviso in due parti, un lato "A" ed uno "B". Il primo lato, supera abbonantemente il quarto d'ora, realizzato totalmente "a distanza", comprende al suo interno le musiche originali curate dal trio di produttori Ka-Tet (composto da Detox, Monom3 e ZapaN), più il rap degli gli mc's: Svez, Menhir, Gruff, Esa, Ekspo, Phogna, Paura, Danno, Domasan, Toni Joz, Speaker Cenzou, Vaitea. Sono state inoltre incise sul brano le voci di Polda, le percussioni di Roberto Chiga (percussionista del già menzionato progetto Sinfonaito),gli scratch di dj Spass e dello stesso dj Gruff. e infine, l'introduzione di Dj Enzo.

"Instead of doing yet another promo mix that incorporates a song or two from our new album, I thought it would be fun for me & Phill to each do a 30 minute mix of Hip Hop from our respective areas. I'm from Southampton, and since that's not a very big place I thought it would be more fitting to play some of my favourite old UK Hip Hop records. Philadelphia always had a healthy Hip Hop scene that boasted famous artists such as DJ Jazzy Jeff & Fresh Prince, Cash Money & Marvelous and Steady B just to name a few. Phill wanted to showcase some of the more obscure/random Rap records from Philly that he loves."

Guinea Conakry has a rich musical history, especially after the country’s independence in 1958 which allowed decades of beautiful music to flourish across the country.

The Syliphone record label has allowed many talented orchestras to record their music, constituting now an invaluable cultural heritage.

Guinean Music is fantastic and clearly unique : a blend of traditional, West-African and Afro-Cuban music. 

Beyond their typically deep, funky and groovy music, Guinean orchestras have also played Latin music, covering Cuban songs the Guinean way. 

The result is breathtaking....
