Ethereal is finally out now. Enjoy it!

Attention: Ethereal is a very important event in our lives! I'm really happy to have our first song finally released. Thou, I must confess it wouldn't be the same thing if The Autist had not the needed support of all our friends out there who are already part of our world. I'd like to specially thank some very important individuals that helped conceiving the band as it came to be and made this first song a possibility:

First we got Cátia Alves; a very talented and hard working musician who worked along with me on the composition of Ethereal's vocal lines by lending The Autist her unique voice. It was an amazing time and opportunity to be working with her since I experienced the most intense artistic chemistry ever with her. I gotta say that all her efforts to be a part of Ethereal - and all the other songs we wrote - won't ever be forgotten. There is so much left to say... but hopefully and on a near future, it is of my greatest desire to be sharing some serious projects with her. Thank you so much for everything.

To mister João Dourado - a.k.a. the golden boy - who gently spent some time mixing and mastering Ethereal with so much care. I know this boy for about 5 years now since my previous project - Darkside of Innocence - shared some stages with Antichton (in which Dourado is the actual drummer and composer) on the past and all I can say is that I still am fond of João's capacities and creativity regarding the musical world. It was an amazing time and sincerily I wish that our ways won't take us apart. Thank you. Thank you. 

Thanks to Emidio from Almada Estudios which actively gave us such a postive moral to take us where we are now - I know we still have a very long road. We're glad to be rehearsing on his studios and I expect you all folks with bands and projects give him a shot because there is no other place you should be praticing your music. More news soon! 

Thanks to Tiago F. Lopes for making a wonderful videoclip which will surely make us reach top flights. It really didn't disappoint. There's already a new clip on thought, so expect something big from The Autist and mister Tiago.

Ethereal - Single (2014)

The Autist is a metal/rock project from Portugal.

KLONQUE release a bold new Single and Video that is a summary of what is going on these days, the election of Donald Trump as the president of the USA. It also describes what goes on in the world where right wing populism and hate speeches are gaining strength in a very scary way.

Founded early in 2015, KLONQUE is a German based progressive metal group hailing from Berlin and Frankfurt. The group is fronted by Thomas Neitsch (Holy Moses) and Peter Geltat (Holy Moses), both on lead guitars and vocals. KLONQUE is completed by Gerd Lücking (Holy Moses, ex Courageous) on drums and Ishay Sommer (The Outside, Ahvak) on Bass.

After playing thrash together for 20 years, Thomas and Peter have evolved from being side men to front men, both taking on guitars and vocals. Fueled by the desire to create hard, fast and complex metal, they started combining death, thrash, black and progressive technical elements. 

Because the two have been friends and bandmates since high school, songwriting together is second nature. Thomas exchanged his bass guitar, which he wielded for most roles over the last years, for a 12 string guitar.

Peter: "People don't really know it, but Thomas is a really great guitar player. He wrote a lot of the riffs and songs for Redefined Mayhem."

Since the foundation of KLONQUE, four instrumental play­through videos have been released on YouTube ( https://goo.gl/WcAZjd ). Vocals have been recorded with the songs. 

Thomas: "We discovered that our voices fit really well together, when we made pre-production for Holy Moses Redefined Mayhem. With KLONQUE we try to go further and include more melodical lines. As the Beauty and the Beast, but instead of the Beauty just… well, two furry beasts".

KLONQUE incorporates a variety of metal elements into their compositions. Each song is layered heavily in thrash, with grooving bass licks, interweaved progressive solos, and traces of death and black metal all tied together with the accelerated pace of the drums. 
It is clear that bands such as The Haunted, Mastodon, Extol and Gojira have a heavy influence on these compositions. Thomas and Peter are able to translate their musical ideas into vocal expressions. The lyrical themes range from philosophical nihilism and horror to political criticism against nazi fucktards.Thomas growls disdainfully whilst Peter screams about the naked realities of this world. The visual images conjured by these lyrics are intended to provoke critical thought.

From the mysterious Celtic Coast of Northern Ireland, Celtic Progressive Rock songwriter Kim Andrews is turning up the volume.  Fans describe her music as early Black Sabbath and Dio with hints of Nightwish with Rockin’ good guitars.

In a needle in the haystack Rock Genre Kim Andrews stands out with her twist of Celtic Progressive Rock and also her powerful vocal with higher operatic octave harmonies.

Her debut Sands of Time EP was self-released in 2016 featuring Matt Starr (drummer of Ace Frehley, Mr Big) in the single Sands of Time (Midnight Version).  This lead to an interview by the Rock Monster Show radio station.

In 2018 seen Kim gain over 19,000 new fans around the world.  She is currently recording a new album with a Celtic Rock influence with higher octave operatic harmonies.

Kim sets the pace for independent artists and the Progressive Celtic Rock genre by not touring.  Having disability awareness qualifications, Kim believes that obstacles can be overcome.  She loves to sing live but continues to be a recording artist and songwriter to encourage other independent artists to achieve their goals.
