Our next show is a mix from our Co-Founder George Horn under his new project "RACNTR" (Rac.on.teur) that he will mainly be focusing on for everything across the board he enjoys under the umbrella that is "Electronic Music". His separate project "Heavy Measures" continues to focus on the much deeper, emotive, darker late night sounds.

When we relaunched Cromarti Records in 2022, George decided to shift his focus back to a lot of the sounds and genres that first influenced him through the mid to late 90s and early 2000s. His sets now cover a wide range in order to create a narrative or mood he's feeling at any given time, whether it be deep, dark, beautiful, groovy or upbeat and funky. In his opinion, when compilation series like Global Underground and John Digweed's Bedrock series were more at the forefront for him in the 90s / 00s, the sets in his opinion were much more fluid and carefully curated in order to create such seamless listening experiences through audio landscapes that told stories through the music. Hence his new focus as "RACNTR". He feels like there are so many compilation series to compete with these days, to the point carefully curated and selected mixes suffer in order to keep up with the demand. This is why he feels the need to get back to taking much more time in carefully curating his track selection for each of his mixes going forward.

His sets now consist of anything from Ambient, Downtempo, Electronica, Deep House, Progressive and Organic House to Tech House, Melodic House and Techno. As well as deeper Breaks, Drumb & Bass and Liquid. While Deep House remains a main focus of his, Downtempo, Breakbeats, Drum & Bass, Progressive, and Techno were all a big part of what first brought him into the world of electronic music.

For this Deep House set he starts out with some deeper material in the 1st half, and moves into more uplifting, groovier and funky sounds in the second half. It features a handful of tunes by artists who have released with us on Cromarti Records this year. Including a few from Jazzuelle, who we're excited to say will have a new single out with us before the end of the year as an extended EP we have some nice plans for. You'll also find some tunes by Chanknous, Paul Hawkins, Mo'Cream, and TshegoTMM & Vencer Cafe's latest original track of "Sunshine On The New Beginning". Which made several charts, including the Traxsource "Best of July".
