Brother North - Skyward Lights

The awesome @Jacoo put out the stems to this track in early 2014; after struggling with the idea I moved on too quickly and picked up a few other bits and pieces. However I re-found it a couple of times in the past month and decided to finish it and push it as far as I could.

I tried to create a more garage style beat for this, whilst keeping it at the same tempo as the original, this kept the slow epic feel of the original, but it felt more hectic. There is a lot going on throughout the production and I lost count of the amount of drum and percussion layers I had in there.

There is a small sneaky amount of my own (autotuned) vocals hiding away somewhere in here!

About Feminine Medicine™

The Feminine Medicine™ project is a series of collaborative albums and stage shows I launched in 2015. Every song on the album is a collaboration between me and another female artist.

I set out to co-create music that expresses a harmony of both masculine and feminine frequencies and that is both danceable and sacred with some of my favorite female artists. I believe this music shows how "feminine" melodic textures and vocals can integrate with traditionally "masculine" bass frequencies to create songs that are harmonically transcendent of any existing genre.

For the past 2 years I have been writing, producing and performing the Feminine Medicine™ music, collaborating with over 30 female musicians, vocalists, and dancers to showcase stage shows at major festivals including Lucidity Festival, Beloved Festival, and Enchanted Forest Festival, with more to come this year.

Artists set to be showcased on Feminine Medicine™ music so far include: 
Heather Christie, Imagika Om, Liquid Love Drops, Ixchel Prisma, Eden Amadora, Amma Li Grace of Entheo, HAANA, Tara Divina, Ali Kane, Ariel White, JemIneye, Amae Love, Jess Johnson, Aleksandra Dubov, and Kaia Ra.

Volume 1 will be released Feb 2017. A remix album is scheduled for Summer 2017. Volume 2 is tentatively scheduled for early 2018.

Remember Who You Are is a collaboration of meditative tracks from David Andrew Rodriguez (The Water Magister), Patrick Kiebzak (Momentology), and Jon Galdr created to assist you in the expansion of self through Astral Projection and deeper states of meditation.

The tank drum played is tuned to 432hz and has a sigil of Cho Go Pal, which is the sigil of remembrance of who we are before we chose these physical bodies.

This album utilizes the audio-technology of Binaural Beats to entrain brain's waves into states from low Delta (Deep sleep and relaxation) to high Gamma.
