Often, if not most of the time, the world and therefore this existence can seem and even feel ‘pretty normal’ (whatever we believe normal might be).

Maybe ‘recognizable’ is a more appropriate term, because do we really know what is normal; can we ever really know?  Along that same mental pathway do we ever really know where dreams begin and reality ends or perhaps even which is which?  What we hold on to and what we cast aside might be our only true markers along the pathway we accept is our life; and even then no matter how firmly we believe we know, can we ever really appreciate how fragile that perception might be?
