ROCKIN' THE BURG!!!
Rockin' The Burg 2021!  The first show of the New Year kicks off into high gear with the adrenaline-fueled, ASS-KICKING sounds of local rock stalwarts, Point The Finger. The band formed in 2007, perfected their sound and developed a strong fan base, and then took a break to pursue other, successful, musical endeavors, and raise their children.
The magic of music brought them back together,put them in the studio to record some of the songs they wrote almost two decades ago, book some shows, and plan a record-release party, and then COVID-19 came to town and live music ceased to exist.
Today, drummer Matt, and guitarist, Jason, came into the K-Zone Studios, while vocalist Matt (yes, there are two Matts....because one Matt, just won't do), and bassist Joe, called in from their Covid Bunkers, to share some of their latest songs, which are available online, and talk about getting back together, and hopefully, back in front of their fans, soon.

The photo gave me instantly some kind of Blade Runner feeling and I wanted to avoid this. I decided to make something with LFOs that give the cars driving by a sound. I created a generative patch on my AE Modular with a recently added Wonkystuff rbbs adressing the FMOS oscillator, a lots of LFOs and filters. I wanted to add some Houston radio talk, but I only found a WebSDR source in Texas (w5cqu.homeip.net:8100/) from which the voices are taken (some harmless talk about MS Windows). The result is my feeling of having a flat in this building, listening to local radio with open balcony. Will be a #1 hit single…
