Megan Kim Richofsky, aka Righteous Sistah, uprooted her life from the redwood-rich Santa Cruz mountains to connect to her roots inland in California’s Central Valley where her family purchased their first plot of land as immigrants from South Korea 43 years ago.
With problem solving in her nature and the land at risk of being sold, Megan spent her downtime during the Covid pandemic researching the most sustainable farming methods possible. Now implementing regenerative and soon aquaponic farming practices, she is excited to share her findings and empower and encourage others to farm more sustainably with nature.

An adviser for Santa Cruz County and Executive Committee Member for Community Prevention Partners, Carr also serves as a Guest Lecturer at Cabrillo College, College of Botanical Healing Arts, and judge for both High Times Cup and The Emerald Cup. Carr represents Santa Cruz in the greater Cannabis Community and has positive rapport with the leading activists in Sacramento and Emerald Triangle. Rooted in the ethics of Compassionate Use Act while engaging the leading minds of the ever evolving California Cannabis Industry, Carr serves the community shaping a local Cannabis movement that reflects the values of Santa Cruz through leadership and compassion.
