Here’s the last >club focused< 12” that we’ll announce before summer: welcome back Robert Dietz! After last year's RIP To My Idea Of You, he’s back with a complete solo EP: 3 MIRRORS. Four high energy cuts rounded out by the aptly named Sudden Peace. And with flying colours. Highlight track Farbpaletten is as propulsive as it is large, a typical Dietz track that touches on trance, but not in the way you would expect. The time has come, we hit exactly 20 years since the launch of Dirt Crew Recordings back in 2004. An incredible journey lays behind us with so many discovered artists and even more amazing tunes we first heard as demo and brought to life either on Wax, CD or Digital. As we never look back too much we decided to not give you another “Best of” but instead drop 15 brand new tunes by early and more recent artists that have released with us in these past years.

The result is a really broad spectrum of what makes up the style of the label, from Deep House to Disco and Electronica to Electro, these fifteen cuts represent the richness of dance music in our little universe. Dig into this playlist and discover the Dirt Crew sound.

Houseum Records is proud to present its first sub-label, Ellipse Records. This new project was born out of two common goals with Houseum Records: sharing music and putting forward promising artists. This sub-label highlights a new music library that oscillates between electro, breakbeat and ambient. The releases will combine exploration and texture through the symbiosis between artistic covers and sounds.

To mark the occasion of 300,000 subscribers on the Houseum YouTube channel, what could be a better way to celebrate than kicking off a new sub-label with the talented Tom Jarmey? The young Englishman, aka Ocean Stirs and one half of Mother Of Pearls continues to reveal his talent through various releases on Dansu Discs, R.A.N.D Musik, Shadow City Records and his beautiful debut album on Lobster Theremin.

Tom Jarmey resumes this ascent with his latest EP - 'Birds of Opul' - Consisting of four tracks spanning emotive ambient, psychedelic downtempo, breakbeat and techno.

The EP opener ‘Steelo’ introduces us to a lush, textured array of fluttering synths and pads. ‘Far East’ builds on this theme, incorporating otherworldly melodies with driving drum work and samples. The B side opens with ‘Blue’, a mellow dive into pulsating chords and stripped back percussion. Closing the EP is ‘Flying Into Haze’, a fitting journey through massive ambient synths and field recordings, ending in a final, angelic crescendo.
