His musical journey traces back to the 80s, shaped by an extended family entrenched in the music industry. At 15, his mother gifted him a home computer, launching an unstoppable musical trajectory. Inspired by 90s hip-hop icons like Biggie, Onyx, Big L, 2Pac, Nas, and local mavericks Seti Tzu, Lou Showers, and Cyrus Dazine, Abyss purposefully avoids mainstream conformity. His sound, marked by earthy tones, robust drums, and gritty sample stabs, melds with a lyrical flow, shifting seamlessly between moody, aggressive, humorous, and energetic tracks.

With nine albums and numerous singles, Abyss also shares the stage with Apathy, Slaine, and Tragedy Khadafi, amongst others. His razor-sharp lyrics addressing life's struggles, addiction, and boastful rap competitiveness have resonated on radio, magazines, online platforms, and Top 10 charts.
