Jafar, born and raised in the Middle East. Came into contact with DJing and Psychedelic Music in the early 2000s during the time of his academic studies in India. In a short time, he saw himself perform at various vivid parties all around India and soon expanded his radius across the globe. In 2017 Jafar started "Samaa Records". A record label from the heart of Asia and is an addition to the Digital Om Productions family. We really dig Jafar and his vibe and are very happy to have him on mixing duties for Trancentral this week!

Here is the first set of mine for the new year ... its one hour recorded from a 3 hour set i played in January for SHIVAMOON at a Sangoma night on the legendary Koh Phangan island in Thailand. The last time i went was in 2003 so lots has changed but the spirit remained the same - although it is not as open anymore and one has to look a bit closer. Unfortunately my recorder didnt have more space to record the whole set ... anyway this should be a glimpse of foresty nighttime music ... Looking forward to be back back in Thailand soon.
