A song written by Darren about the tragic Cheapside Street Whiskey Bond Fire, in Glasgow, on 28th March 1960 in which 19 firemen were killed.

The Night The Skies Turned Red

"The Tune" is the Title Track of Martin A. Egan's 2009 Album released on his own Slinky Vibe Record Label. 4 of the Tracks were recorded by Mary O'Regan of Irish Folk Band Draoicht one of which became the Title Track of her Album "Every Punch Needs a Kiss" and getting her Nominated for the German Music Award (Folk Category) in 1997. The Track was recoprded in Peter O'Toole's house in Blessington in Autumn 1997. Peter plays Bass, Bouzouki and Acoustic Guitar on the Track. Martin plays Acoustic Guitar and sings.

I really should update the recording of this demo but I am quite fond of the raw sound on this. Even if it is unflattering at times.. But it shares the sentiment of the song.
