Following on the heels of Shine, their well regarded 2020 album which Uncut Magazine described as “Vividly drawn Americana, The Danberrys went back to the studio and recorded 5 covers that influenced them to become musicians in the first place. The raw, immediate, and at times tender recordings combine the delicate interplay of the couples voices with the sparse instrumentation of a strummed guitar or picked banjo so well that you could swear the duo was performing in front of you. 

“We grew up with the cover tunes on this EP. They’re classic, timeless songs that our parents played for us when we were kids, and we sing them to our daughter Ollie. We wanted to capture an intimate vibe that’s authentic to our living room jams - just the two of us sitting around singing harmony on some of our all-time favorite tunes.”
