The Dark Afterglow is an art project which was founded in 2011 by the austrian musician Alexander Herzog, born 1991. He writes, records and designs everything on his own as a one-man-factory. His songwriting is very spontaneous and instinctive. All tracks are written and recorded at his home with the most minimal equipment you could find to keep the truth of music at the highest point.

Hi, my name is Davide, born in 1978... ;] 

I started studying classical music at 10 years old, I graduated in theory and solfeggio then I abandoned classical studies to study other musical genres as well...



I started composing music as a teenager on that fantastic machine that was the Amiga 600hd using Protracker... 

I've always worked both musically and "normally" trying to make ends meet budget...

I love composing mostly instrumental songs with progressive overtones and predominantly dark harmony...



I'm just trying to live off my music in a country where the musician's work is hardly recognised...
