Musik-Ästheten

Ästhetik ist weit mehr als ein feinsinniges Gespür für Formvollendung.
Für die Formation SCHÖNGEIST und dessen Bandbegründer und Sänger Timur Karakus spielt Ästhetik eine zentrale Figur im musikalischen Schaffen. Sie ist Inspiration, Maßstab, Horizonterweiterung und zugleich auch die Fähigkeit, das jeweils Schöne darin zu entdecken. In den Songs von SCHÖNGEIST spiegelt sich genau das wieder – Diverse Spielarten des Rock, Pop, Elektro und Metal fließen barrierefrei ineinander und werden dabei lediglich vom Anspruch an musikalische Ästhetik geleitet.

So verwundert es kaum, dass SCHÖNGEIST innerhalb kürzester Zeit eine rasant wachsende Anzahl an Menschen in ihren Bann ziehen konnten. U.a. durch gemeinsame Tourneen und Festival-Shows mit Bundesweit renommierten Bands wie „LETZTE INSTANZ“ und „EISBRECHER“. Einfühlsamer Dark-Rock mit deutschen Texten und modernem Pop-Appeal offenbart sich dem Zuhörer, verfeinert durch manch diverse Elektro-Elemente. 2006 gegründet, haben SCHÖNGEIST auch für ihr interkulturelles Schaffen in 2011 die Deutsche Musikförderung der Bundesregierung erhalten. Die Gruppe hat bereits drei Alben veröffentlicht mit „Liebeskrieger“ in 2009 „Keine Zeit“ in 2011 und Wehe! in 2013. Bei den ersten beiden Alben zeichnete sich auch CARLOS PERÓN als executive Producer verantwortlich. Perón ist Gründungsmitglied der legendären Gruppe YELLO und auch ein Begriff durch manche Zusammenarbeit mit WOLFSHEIM und WITT & HEPPNER.

Der energiegeladene Single-Track „Fake News“ (Online und Club VÖ 06.12.2024) setzt nach längerer Abstinenz wieder ein wuchtiges und energiegeladenes Lebenszeichen.Als Co-Songwriter hat hier auch EISBRECHER-Sänger Alexander Wesselsky mitgewirkt.
