Valkyrie & Attila needed to find an outlet for their pent up frustrations after their former bassist & guitarist could no longer continue. 

They set about building a robot that could transform their lives with a full band sound. 

This gadget was the electro driving force behind Attila's explosive drumming & the cutting guitars & vocals of Val. All components in one live boogie machine. The Devices was born. 

They played their debut gig in September 2011 at Cargo, London & the band rapidly developed their sound in the studio, as well as live over the coming months. 

By the summer of 2012 they were picked by Emergenzia as the only UK band to feature on an international compilation of unsigned talent. 20,000 copies of their self-produced track 'The Lights of Canary Wharf' went to press. 

Around this time The Devices made their first video "Bridges" which can be found on their Youtube channel "Wearethedevices", & have just added another "Offshore" in time for the New Year.

Currently booking their March tour to coincide with self produced release 'Bridges'.

Missionary Fades is my solo project influenced by mainly 90's grunge and post grunge. All songs were performed and produced by me, recorded on Logic Pro from home. 

My music explores themes of the bipolar condition, despair, insecurity, falling, positive energy, growth, recovery and rebirth. The name "Missionary Fades" is about keeping faith in the face of turmoil. My main influences are Nirvana, Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, Foo Fighters, Smashing Pumpkins, Stone Temple Pilots, Queens of the Stone Age, Living Colour and Skunk Anansie.
