Chris Duckenfield is responsible for some of the best house music to ever be made in the UK. Under a slew of aliases he's released house bombs as Swag and abstract electronica as RAC on Warp Records. He has owned two record labels and now in a world of ever increasing digital music domination, he has started a vinyl distribution label. Born and raised in Sheffield, the Duck is also one ofthe most respected DJs in the world, playing everywhere from Fabric in London and Panorama bar in Berlin, to small intimate parties in Australia. The man is certainly made of steel.

In May 2005, The Dirty Disco was started at the Northern Light by Foz, Stu and Lizard. 

The next 6 years was a huge adventure. What started as a bit of fun soon turned into something huge an was well known all over the UK and beyond. 

Cutting edge lineups and sometimes 6 amazing headliners and 12 residents playing over the 3 rooms, started to attract 2000+ people every month.

We are extremely excited to be bringing back Dirty Disco this year for a special one off party to celebrate what would be our 10th Anniversary.

A.K.A. The Lovely Helen started her DJ-ing career in the very early 90's at Birmingham's 1st allnighter club 'Wobble'. Here she played alongside some of the UK's finest DJ's including Andrew Weatherall, Derrick Carter, DJ Harvey, Rock & Diesel, DJ Deep, Eric Morillo, Josh Wink  to name a few. Alongside Wobble she DJ'd up and down the UK guesting at various clubs around the country. 

Vigi has been spinning tunes since the early 90’s and releasing dance tracks since ’94. 
For the past 20 years, his funk fuelled beats and breaks have been part of the sound track of the underground UK dance scene featuring regularly in the sets of all the big jocks from Fatboy Slim to Josh Wink to Tom Middleton and pretty much everyone in between. Never to be pigeonholed, his releases have been on labels as diverse as Marine Parade, TCR, Streetwise, Tricknology, Sm:)e NY, M.C Projects, Beiak and More Tea Vicar amongst others and licensed to dozens of compilations and films.
He has played at all the big clubs over the years such as Ministry of Sound, Fabric, The End, Cable and Canvas, at festivals such as Glastonbury, The Glade and Dance Valley and across the world in the USA, Europe and South America. Vigi has also performed countless guest DJ slots on tv and radio including on MTV, Kiss and Radio 1.
Over the past couple of years Vigi has been hard at work in the studio stockpiling a huge armoury of dancefloor destroyers, ready to unleash upon the world.
His latest weapons includes a funked up house remix of “My Inspiration” for one of the UK’s hottest soul singers, Myles Sanko, and a massive remix of Chicago big gun Robert Owens’ collaboration with Kat Nine, “You and I”. 
But the true weapons of mass dancefloor destruction, are to be found in his arsenal of floor filling house bombs. The first one to drop is the bunker busting “Jack’s House” on Subiendo Records, and you can be sure that this is one missile that is about to ‘blow up’ in the clubs. 
Its simple.....when Vigi hits the floor, there are no prisoners; no one gets away without shaking their butt.
