The track "She Likes It Dirty" was the first release from The Dirty Unkuls.  It took only about 4 years to get to the point of releasing our first song, so this one was an accomplishment.

Blues for the State of the World - Moog Mod Improve 1

Mike Dean, one of the game's most prolific producers and its reigning master keyboardist, spent a weekend in the Moog Music Factory.

Surrounded by analog synthesizers and immersed in an environment of experimentation, Mike selected 6x Mother-32 synthesizers to create his sonic palette and a Voyager XL as his master controller.

GRANDE FAUCON

This is a tribute to my dad, Jani Lane, from the band Warrant. This song was a classic and I decided to sing a cover for it. The final version will be uploaded sometime after Christmas, which will sound a little more professional, but here is what a friend and I did in a recording studio in one day (I may also be changing some of the lyrics to make it for a female).

Heaven (rough version)

These five childhood friends hail from Lake Jackson, Texas. They grew up on a steady diet of rock and 80's glam metal. Eric, Lance and Kyle were in a garage band together in high school called "InAsense". Mark and Joey were founding member of the band "Rokitt". All five moved away from Lake Jackson after high school to start families and careers. Mark fronted many metal bands in Austin, then switched to country, which led to a small stint in Nashville. Kyle kept drumming through out the years too. In the summer of 2008, Kyle, Lance and Eric went to the South Texas Rock Fest to relive some old memories of the music they grew up with. They had such a great time they decided to schedule a weekend to record some songs. Mark quickly agreed to be a part of the project. So they met up in Boerne, Texas at Eric's home studio on the weekend of Dec. 12-14. We all caught up with Joey in June of 2014 and welcomed him back into the fold.

The Dirty Unkuls (the name and concept came from Lance when Hurricane Dolly decided to park over Lance's house and he had a lot of time to think. Lack of electricity will do that to you.) is a band strictly for fun, nothing more or less. We have accomplished to write, record and prepare for release 10 originals. So far you have heard the first - "She Likes It Dirty" and last week saw the release of "Rio Grande". The plan is to continue releasing the remainder of those 10 songs at a pace of about one a month. All the while, we continue to write more originals.

Often when a Riff jumps into my head, I grab my guitar and try to get what's in my head out of the amp with No tuning and no practice. 

 What you hear is a first attempt to play something I've never played before.
Laden with mistakes but as I continue, it sometimes starts to smooth out and sometimes even grows.

 So this isn't an attempt to impress anyone, its my example for beginners to see that you don't have to sound like a Rock God to upload & share a Riffs you've just created or you're working on, Its also a place to store these random Riffs, As well as a timeline that shows creativity & a slowing growing skill.

I'm new at the guitar, Bought one about a month or so ago off eBay, set it up, Modified it with some new hardware, personalized it, bought an amp, effects board, about a half a dozen effect pedals and started playing without knowing a note or a chord, and yea you can tell.

If your a newbie, by all means let me know where to go to listen to ya. I won't be an ass like most, cuz I am probably worse... Although I still am better than little Wayne! LOL
