DJ and producer Daniel Malagia comes out of the woodwork for his first solo EP on Mireia Records under his new alias 💎 Daniele Brillanti 💎.
A multi-faceted affair, displaying Daniel’s chops for melodies, atmosphere and studio-wizardry. Drawing inspiration from nature-documentaries, obscure 90s sample CDs and his house plants.

The Forest People EP features four collages sitting somewhere on the branches of the house spectrum. At times rough. Always groovy. Sometimes balearic.  Broken-beat house, kraut-tinged. Each track opens up its own distinct world. Daniel is taking you on the road less traveled and it’s going to be a trip to remember.

Daniel has been making music since the 1990s, strongly influenced by his father who was a professional musician, providing him with the opportunity to play with esoteric gear from an early age. Many will know Daniel as one half of “Deo & Z-Man”, having released numerous records, spanning house and techno on labels such as Compost Black Label and hfn. More recently, Daniel has released five records as part of “Gain Of Seven”, a project that explores kraut-influenced electronica. His latest appearance was a track on Ada’s “Colectiva” EP on Pampa Records.
