"A Wrinkle In Time" is a series of curated guest mixes inspired by John Peels habit to accidentally play records at the incorrect number of rpm. Though it never failed to annoy and embarrass him, one of the tribute compilations released after his death was given the title "Right Time, Wrong Speed". Nowadays Wrongspeeders are a popular and fun tool for most DJs. "A Wrinkle In Time" is not about playing 45s on 33 or the other way round though, but it has one important rule, its only rule: Don’t get too close to the original playing speed of the record, the area between +4 and -4 on the pitch scale of the turntable is a forbidden zone.

They host the monthly Gonzo Sport Club at Maison Balkii in Geneva as well as The Put On mix series on @noodsradio where we also had the chance to contribute. Last summer these cuties even made us a dream come true and invited us to play at the Montreux Jazz Festival. When we first listened to this mixtape, we instantly found ourselves in the middle of a Nintendo Power Glove commercial. Enough said. Enjoy this beauty 🦾
