First time on NACHTIs Ambient Stage, but certainly not the first time on stage, LINO REX has played herself into the memories of their primarily laying listeners with dubby tunes and thus created a rhythmic, lulling feel-good atmosphere on late Saturday afternoon. @linol_music has the talent to take her listeners on a journey between percussions and bass, on a dubby trip that can be constructed even after a month again within your own four walls. The three hours are now available for all to hear (and feel) on our SoundCloud. As always, you can find the link in our bio and as a direct link in the stories. For the 322nd instalment of our series, we are bringing you a spectacular mix by the American producer Sebby Kowal.

Sebby Kowal is an American ambient & dub techno producer. He has been making ambient music since 2021 and dub techno since 2024. Sebby would describe his music as minimal with delicate textures and field recordings. He has been on a number of labels such as Rohs!/Lontano Series, Drift Deeper Recordings, Shimmering Moods Records, Atlantea Records, Florina Cassettes, Deep Electronics, Cold Tear Records and more.
Sebby believes when you create ambient and dub techno music, the possibilities are endless. In the future Sebby has a number of new projects coming up from mixes, compilations, Ep's and new albums.

"When people listen to my music, I would like them to feel relaxed and to be at peace."

I started with the feeling I had at 5 pm on a Tuesday in December. At just about 8 minutes, this is probably the longest track I've done. Yes, I like doing things that are lovely (in my opinion) but slightly ... off.

Think of this one as a long feature, a collection of short asynchronous conversations between musicians. 

About the process : 
I asked some friends I have worked with in the Past, Present or Possible to choose some tracks for me, then I selected one track for each, and answered back with a selection of my own, most times as a personal message to them, a song I want to play for them or that reminds me of them.  it is then mixed in the tradition of the other Winter Mixes, in this way you must by now be familiar with.

It’s the longest to date, 80mn (the time of a CD-R …)
