The Elevated are currently working on their debut free double album, Pronoia and Metanoia, as well as an accompanying B-Sides album.

The Elevated are influenced by a wide array of bands, from Gorillaz to Metallica, Bjork to Red Hot Chili Peppers and The Roots to The Smashing Pumpkins.

They are a collaborative music making machine without genres or boundaries. They are an eclectic gathering of talented individuals with many different backgrounds in music and art. A simple pencil or kazoo stands as important as guitar or bass, and they experiment with
everything to make a sound that is fresh and fun.

They draw from many Philadelphia bands and artists, from all the members of KASP to a few from The Beta Phase, and many featured Philadelphia rock, hip-hop and classical artists.

The Elevated is not so much a band as it is an outlet for creative music composition and art. Their music will change and grow and will not be restricted. The music will be free. Pretty packages and merchandise will be optional. Live shows? Who knows? It is an experiment in free music and home recording solutions.

But hey, forget all that pompous talk. Grab a drink, kick back, browse the site and download what you like, especially the music.
