Originaire de la région parisienne, The Engineer s’immisce très vite dans les velléités mix, et plus tard, à la production de musique électronique. Anciennement « AZT3K», il apprend en autodidacte les bases du mix dès 14 ans. Fondateur et membre d’un collectif en 2015, le Petit Peuple Sonorisé (PPS Sound6tem), lui permit, entre autres, d’élargir sa palette musicale en devenant un producteur aguerrit.

Participant avec son collectif a beaucoup de Free/Rave party, c’est là qu’il mixe principalement. 

Très éclectique musicalement parlant, The Engineer à la particularité de pouvoir mixer pléthore de styles de musique électronique, de la Trance à la Terror en passant par la Techno, Tribe, l’Acid, ou encore la Drum&Bass, ce qui le démarque des autres membres de son groupe. 

The Engineer poursuit aujourd’hui son exploration dans le monde de la musique électronique sous un autre nom: https://soundcloud.com/smoothy-groove, se démarquant dans un style house, agrémenter de groove. Un univers qui lui correspond finalement bien.
