DJ Papa Gee hails from the East End of London, cutting his teeth in the early underground dance scene, dabbling in a bit of Ragga, and nurturing himself nicely on Lover's Rock, Rare Groove & R'n'B.

The influences of London's pirate stations such as Centre-force, Station FM and Kiss, along with the legendary house parties of the day, helped mould Papa Gee's unique and intriguing flavour matched with his diverse and talented technique, resulting in the interesting and charismatic artist he has become today.

The early influence of Pirate Radio led Papa Gee & Junglist MC to perform live at the Roller Express Bar, giving them the opportunity to perform the supporting sets for The Five + Tenor's which lead them directly to the infamous Jungle Champion Sound Clash where they really made their mark.

By 1996 and with two years playing on Weekend Rush under his belt Papa Gee then went on to Cyndicate FM where he was at the forefront of bringing the Jungle vibes to the region playing with Pure Science, Heat & Sound-clash, to name but a few.

Papa Gee's transition in to the studio was firmly cemented when Different Levels introduced Papa to Rizla & MC Stevie Hyper D (RIP) which resulted in the recordings of 'The First Step' Papa Gee's debut album which was immediately signed to Island Records.

By 1997 Papa Gee was spreading his magic on Kool FM and is still one of the stations long standing much loved DJ's, gracing us with his flavour every Sunday afternoon.

By 1999 Papa Gee & Rampa (Pinnacle) had formed record label DETOX RECORDINGS working along side DJ Magic from the Prisoner of Technology, jumping on board with Rooney & J-Rise this formidable team where a force to be reckoned with.

With first release Calabasas & Dark Life, simultaneously Papa Gee was a resident at Twice As Nice, The Coliseum & The End club whilst being instrumental in the formation of the Tiamat Records with MC Piper, which lead to the release of '4 my dogz + Fun-da-birds & F1' a killer track of the day.

2000's Papa Gee has been rolling as the GO GETTERS with MC Curse and Junglist MC playing at Tenner Fever, Heat & fever, United Dance & Jungle Fever 3, Pure Science, Kool FM Birthday Bash, Telepathy and Pyromaniacs to name but a few. Papa's road trip extended to Athens where he has played many festivals as well. GO GETTERS release there first single I'm A Go Getter along side Inside Information now know as Inside Info before forming his own record label Hazardous Musik in 2008 in which he continues to support the music he love's from The Future Junglist Movement of today.

Comenzó su pasión por la música a corta edad, a los 13 años ya intentaba realizar sus primeras mezclas, dejándose llevar por ritmos rotos.

Fue en 2011 cuando dio un pequeño salto actuando en Pubs y Discotecas de varios puntos de Andalucía, ampliando poco a poco este abanico hasta salir varias veces la península para actuar en la isla de Tenerife.

Siempre estuvo interesado en crear su propia música y fue en marzo de 2013 cuando decidió ponerse manos a la obra y empezó a trastear con varios programas de producción, siendo Logic su herramienta definitiva con la que compuso su primera canción tras unos meses de trabajo.

Este artista ya tiene una larga lista de pistas a la venta y varios también editados en formato físico por diferentes sellos discográficos, entre ellos varios que llegaron al top del Top Breaks mundial e incluso han tenido muy buenas críticas en la prestigiosa revista musical Dj Mag & Mixmag. Un estilo un tanto peculiar el que define a este artista fusionando el estilo de la vieja escuela y Uk Garage.

En 2017 recibió el premio «Best Up & Coming Artist International» en los premios «Miami Bass Awards» y en 2018 volvió a ser nominado a mejor remix con «GN – Hopes (Adam Vyt Remix)

A lo largo de su carrera, ha tenido el placer de participar en varios de los mejores festivales de Andalucía y ha compartido cartel con grandes DJs y productores de la escena mundialmente reconocida.

En mayo de 2020 une fuerzas con el productor onubense “Sekret Chadow” y abren el sello discográfico 13Monkeys Records.

HouseBound Trax is an Deep Tech House collective from St Albans, UK.

Ortem is a platform which will be the home of fresh tracks, overseen by Metro. The emphasis will be stationed around drum and bass and electronic music delivered in all its innovative forms.

Vlastur started his journey into music as a Bass player. Back in the mid-80's, he was a founding member of the Cohash Funk, an underground funky Athenian group. In 1998 alongside Frequency Freak, fellow Cohash funk guitarist and Spiris, a dubby drummer, formed "Apeuthias Syndesi" now known as Direct Connection, a dub experimental laboratory. They released "Dub Infection" in 2007. Even though he started as a Bassist in Direct Connection, he was the main FX Sound Engineer of the band.

In the meanwhile he was also working as a session musician with various artists and bands. In 2004 he teamed up with Palyrria an ethnic-electronica band and in 2005 recorded "Methexy" with them and has played in many of their gigs.

The (InterAxion Dub-2009 Eqnation recs) project was the first fully length work of Vlastur. Influenced by all his beloved sounds from Dub to Dubstep through Psy, Ambient, Drum n' Bass and Traditional Mediterranean sounds !

In early 2015 Parvati recs released the EP "Parvati In Dub by Vlastur".It's about a RMX project by him in Dub with some of very well known tunes of Parvati label artists flavored by Vlastur's sound!!(second part is on the way).

He participated like bass player in the super band "Novelty Engine" with the artists Ajja,Cedric "Congo" Myton ,R.ZEE Jackson ,Steve Hillage (System 7),Miquette Giraudy (System 7) ,Dick Trevor, Ott and Dymons on August of 2015-2016 at OZORA Festival in Hungary.

Exept those artists Vlastur has co-operated with artists such Ace Ventura,Gaudi,Bombay Dub Orchestra,Irina Mikhailova,Etnica,Tengri,Jef Stott and others.

Vlastur performs live by his self or with his band.
