The mighty Dear Deer Music welcomes Ten Walls for a fantastic four-track EP. The Lithuanian artist has made plenty of vital contributions to dance music over the years and is now in the best form of his life here. Lord Of Fallen opens up with a nice slinky rhythm, warm bass, and a hooky percussive line that draws you in. Westworld gets more melodic and transcendental, with chords lighting up the grooves and bringing a heavenly feel as the drums roll on. Trine then raises your spirits with its lush chords, while the groove is more edgy and dark. Neighbourhood ends the EP on a turbulent trip to the cosmos with its slick design, rich musicality, and heady grooves. This is a standout EP from Ten Walls.

About the EP-*
Wiñoy Tripantu is the Mapuche celebration of the return of the sun and is sometimes called the Mapuche New Year. It takes place on the June solstice (the Winter solstice in the Southern Hemisphere), the shortest day of the year in the indigenous home of the Mapuche people. Frequently, We Tripantu (Mapudungun tr: new year) is used as a synonym for Wiñoy Tripantu, but some speakers of the Mapuche language Mapudungun use We Tripantu to refer to the New Year of the Gregorian calendar (January 1) and Wiñoy Tripantu for the celebration of the June solstice

With “In the Shadows”, the artist descends into the underworld and conjures up or physical sounds and powerful beats that drive the sweat out of the pores. There’s not only something lurking in the shadows, it jumps at you and seduces you to dance.
Also on the second track the motto is “Don’t be afraid of the dark. ”Schwarz“ is referred to be  the darkest color, and from a physical point of view it is the absence of light. With “Schwarz” Boris manages to pack this state into dense sounds.
