A full week of breathtaking sunrises, hugging greets, beautiful art, randomness in the biggest sense of the word, cold nights, odd sleeping patterns and 8 days of laughter, love, smiles, tears, energy, sensory overload, dust everywhere, beautiful music and support from familiar faces and new amazing human beings which i can now call my genuine friends. A big THANXXX to Robot Heart for having me. Playing the bus monday morning 4AM after a week of deep playa adventures was the icing on the cake.  Big hugs to all the hard core burners who made it out to dance with me post temple burn.

As we welcome another talented artist to our family we asked Viken about the first part of a two part release and he told us...

"it's really important to understand that this EP is a series of pictures telling a story. Combining the names of all the tracks one gets this interesting and dreamy sentence,'On A Blue Road - A White Shadow - Feels The Winter'.To translate these pictures into music, I needed a very particular sound. Since I am a huge fan of Jazz music I took one of my favorite records, used a lot of samples and reworked them in my own way. From the technical aspect, I decided to reconnect with my first love: analog machines. I love working with sound textures. I stayed away from my laptop and all my VST/Plugins as I felt the need to compose these tracks in an unusual way: I wanted the sound to be really pure. That's the reason why this process was so essential for me. For me, this EP is the first one to sound like this".

This is the first of two releases from a deeply talented soul. A patient collage of house, jazz, acid squiggles and deep emotion. Played and loved all summer long by Lee Burridge at All Day I Dream, these tracks will stay with you through winter and into next summer.

Januar 2017 soll seine Deep-House-Kollektion „Fragile“ in digitaler Version erscheinen. Gleich der Opener der EP, „Vayu“, ist ein wunderschön strukturiertes Werk geworden, das von einer melodischen Wärme überschwemmt wird. And as my early roots lie in 90ies Hip Hop better to say Battle Scratch 90ties Hip Hop I decided to go back to the roots and started to have scratch sessions again. (No worries ill spare this part for you!)
But…From here on i found all the old beats i liked and still love to this day.
Couldn’t keep them from you.
I might do another one if you guys like it. Theres hundreds of classics in the crates! It was hard to decide.
