I've created a technique that allows SID music to be rendered in stereo. Where this differs from other techniques, is that this allows for every instrument in a SID tune to be panned individually. 

I call this TRUE STEREO, The overall effect has been far more immersive than I thought it might be. Again, what you're hearing is still only 3 channels. But each instrument has individual panning.

This track has been created using the audio recorded directly from a real C64.
Thanks to Max Hall for recording the audio for me. As ever, very much appreciated.

An album of Rob Hubbard C64 SID ChipTune music, reconstructed in full stereo, using tools and techniques developed by myself (Jason Page - No Other Medicine).

This is likely my last project related to the great Rob Hubbard. I've been lucky enough to actually work along side Rob on the Project Hubbard KickStarter. This is my gift back to him.

Rather than join the hoards of remixes, I thought what was needed to get inside Rob's work and give it what it never really had: a sense of space
The technique of creating "True Stereo" versions of SID chip music aims to simply further highlight the pure brilliance of the original tracks.

As such, I highly recommend that you listen using headphones or stereo speakers. Sit back and hear the originals as you've never heard them before.

Computer kid of the 80s. Not french. Nickname given by my then girlfriend when I looked a lot like an actual french dj in the early 2000s(?)... 🤷

Grew up with all the classic synthesizer greats, JMJ, Vangelis, etc, TD, ... Big fan of Peter Schilling (of Major Tom fame) back in the day. His B-sides and non-singles are still so fricking good imho. A lot of Genesis and Marillion and a lot of Pop, only to be swept away by the late 80s and 90s House and Techno wave in Germany. Hardcode raver for many years.

Ofc then transitioning into Spanish music and American country and a lot of Dave Matthews Band. Because why not. But never really lost my electronic heart.

Came to Linkin Park somewhat late, and I enjoy(ed) Disturbed a lot.

But in recent years it's been mostly chill melodic house for me. Thank you very much.
