At the very first Bucht der Träumer* Festival I camped directly next to Stroboklo. Since then BdT is the only constant in my sommer. So when https://soundcloud.com/hauptgang was asked if we want to develop the new floor called "Stroboklo", it felt like a dream come. Even more, after realising that I will be able to play a 2 hour set 🥰

After five stunning singles we are closing in on the much anticipated "The Glitz" album release in May. It has been a refreshing journey so far, what the enormous attention around the singles also reflects. The first single was in the German Club Charts on position one for four weeks (it is still in the Beatport top100 after 5 months) and the following singles saw support by artists like Sam Divine, Acid Pauli and Maceo Plex, while also being played on radio stations world wide and receiving raving reviews. And fitting the spring, symbolising new beginnings and the return of lighter days, Andreas and Daniel are releasing their powerful sixth single "Try Again"! This single is an ode to the dynamics between daily struggles, insecurities, optimism and the power of believing in yourself in a world filled with influences aimed at making you insecure. The incredibly deep-felt lyrics from Mulay give a sincere reflection on the topics ranging from fierce mantras to soft and wicked lines. Musically, The Glitz deliver a unique and somewhat 80's infused tune. Its powerful synth almost screams at you "You can do it" while a naughty and infectious groove carries you on. In the back you have these melancholic melodic elements twirling and unwavering suspenseful percussions that keep you on your toes. This is a tune carrying a message and a big load of energy. The musical background of these two guys is just very different. Everything began with an oldschool hip hop and crossover. In the middle of the 90’s they found their love for house and techhouse music. After moving on as DJ’s and having some solo releases the young and talented guys decided to create THE GLITZ in 2007. There they started with three members - but now they’re down to two now. The first EP “White Line” was a huge success. Surprisingly THE GLITZ found themselves in many DJ playlists and other electronic music charts around the world. Their follwong releases “Chatter” and “Tenga” tie in with the success of “White line”. THE GLITZ have a few releases waiting in the start blocks. So you can get ready for next singles called “Silbersee”, “Last Panther” and “Red Leaves”. Labels like Material, Ideal, Voltage Musique and Pocketgame support THE GLITZ and their kind of electronic music. The keen sense for the right sound at the right moment makes THE GLITZ not only convincing as producer but also as a DJ-Team in the clubs. People love their energetic sets, but also to see their passion behind the decks is worthwhile is the motivation of this two guys.
