30 Rock was a groundbreaking, behind-the-scenes farce created by Saturday Night Live alum Tina Fey, and based loosely on her experiences as a writer for SNL. 30 Rock very quickly became and remains a large part of the topography of modern television and is considered by many to be something of a blueprint for satire.
