Coashark AKA Jeason Melendez is one of the first representatives of the techno scene in Costa Rica.  

Founder of PARADØX , with whom he is currently working and whose objective is to grow the techno scene in Costa Rica, one with a harder, groovy and psychedelic sound.  

Coashark frequently collaborates as a guest artist, being part of the line ups of other local techno collectives that have been emerging strongly in Costa Rica such as Son Letal and TMPL. 

His first event as a promoter with an international artist was with the Polish artist Veronique, Label Boss of The Meaning of Rave, one of the most influential labels in the current global techno scene.  

His international debut was in 2022 in Bucaramanga, Colombia where he played at Municipal Musica Viva, invited by Vollmond Group and Technocturm.

Coashark has shared stage with artists such as: Common Poetry, DOSTROIC, HXIST, Istina, Metaraph, Scale 9 and Veronique.

Next up in our podcast series is @cervi-nicole , who brings us her musical vision straight from Costa Rica.
Cervi is the musical project of Nicole, a DJ graduated from DJLab Academy and co-founder of the collectives Sonido Disidente and Insurrectx. Her work focuses on trance and techno, characterized by energetic rhythms and atmospheric melodies that create immersive experiences.
Despite her short career, Cervi has shared the stage with international DJs/producers such as future.666, Sánchez Jr., and Chippy Nonstop. Additionally, Cervi has collaborated with
international record labels; her mixes have been featured on platforms such as
Loveisthetruth in Spain, inTension Live in Romania and Hystrionic Records in Colombia.
