The Hellfire Orchestra are a rock band with both the punk spirit of folk music, and the folk spirit of punk music. They emerged unpredictably from the Smugglers Records world and - though recognizably formidable - found love most at the fringes of that scene, amongst those with a taste for the counter-cultural punk ethos. 

A few major world and personal life events, an as-yet unreleased 2nd album and the beginnings of a 3rd album later, and Hellfire are back in a new stride. Their newest chapter explores an even less dulcet side.

Anna Mae is a singer and songwriter in music genres such as Americana, Rock and French Chanson. She was born in 1990 in Lucerne Switzerland, where she still is living today and writing songs. She is touring not only her home country Switzerland but also places like France, England or North America. Her artistic work had been showcased at Canadian Music Week in Toronto Canada, where she was offered to perform a selection of songs. Another highlight is her tour through the Midwest of the USA and her artist residency in the city of Chicago in 2022/23.

Anna Mae stands for: woman power, depth, and diversity. She says: „leave no stone unturned in trying to fulfill your dreams, everything is possible if you truly believe it“. Anna Mae, having been inspired by artists such as Tina Turner, Johnny Cash and Edith Piaf, sings about love, freedom and peace, about the pursuit of happiness and the world today.

In 2016 she quit her job as a secretary to fully commit herself to what she loves best: m u s i c. Ever since she was a child, Anna Mae’s biggest dream was to sing for the whole world. She never gave up on this vision which lead her to become an independent artist living from her very passion.

After having released her first EP „Let It Roll“ (2016, Tobi Gmür), a single „River“ (2018, duet with Chrigel Zenger), Anna Mae eventually released her debut album „Out of the Woods“ (producer: Steffen Peters) in 2021. The result of this very album proves that during the past years, she has grown and developed herself artistically. Anna Mae is ready to take another step forward towards higher goals and is showing - stronger than ever - the ambition to never let go her dream.

Furthermore, a country and folk ballad which is called "To Love You" had been released in May 2022. Her new single "Hey Les Amis" will be released on 26 May 2023 and her EP (made of french/americana songs) will be out in automne.

Anna Mae’s ambition is to establish herself as a renowned singer & songwriter on a national as well as an international base. She is a true self-made woman who wants her music to eliminate borders, to lend a voice to all those who remain unheard, to message that it’s high time to listen to Mother Earth and find our way back home. With a high level of motivation, strength and perseverance Anna Mae is convinced of the fact that she will succeed in reaching her goals.

Man the Lifeboats play raucous, upbeat folk music, for those who like a drink with their tunes. 

This London five-piece use an array of instruments to craft songs with big choruses that tell stories.

Formed in the wake of a blistering Skinny Lister gig back in 2016, Harvey, Rich, Sam, Dan and David have taken their shared love of straight-up lyrics, pounding bass-lines, lilting mandolin and fiddle melodies and stomping beats and have created a sound that would not be out of place at a party at the end of the world.

Influences? Well, up there with Skinny Lister we have the Pogues, Bellowhead, Waterboys, Tom Waits, Dylan, Springsteen, Frank Turner, Holy Moly & the Crackers, and of course, Chic.

Throw all that in a cauldron and you end up with a blistering live experience, tales of lost evenings, ballads of doomed love and shanties about whisky-soaked nights, Michael Palin, and the end of the world.

Hendricks the Hatmaker, das sind Nicolas, Stefan und Ramona, welche die Genres "Gin", "Hutmacherei" und "Schnorreböx" musikalisch verbinden. Mit ihren Instrumenten frohlockt das Trio auf der Hutkrempe der Musik, tänzelt auf den Bartresen der Gesellschaft und schaut tief in die Gläser armer Seelen. Die Melodien sind süss wie Wacholder, würzig wie Koriander und scharf wie Pfeffer. Gitarre, Schlagzeug, Bass (und zwischendurch auch mal ein Akustikinstrument) ergänzen sich darin genau so gut wie Salatgurken und Tonicwasser.

Die Band wurde 2013 als Zweimann-Akustik-Folk-Band gegründet und wuchs in den folgenden Jahren zu einer vierköpfigen Rock-Band zusammen, die freudig ehemalige Metal-Musiker recycelte und aus der - wie aus einem guten Komposthaufen - neues, musikalisches, Leben entstand... 
Kurz nach der Veröffentlichung ihres zweiten Albums "Mostly Harmless" verabschiedete sich ihr Sänger aus dem Leben, worauf sich die verbliebenen drei Musiker:innen Ramona, Stefan und Nicolas dafür entschieden, die Band als dreiköpfiges Punk-Power-Trio weiterleben zu lassen.
