This is with Billy Swann on bass, Carl Peachey on guitar, Mark Muscato on drums and me on synth and vocals. Recorded in the mid '80s at my Kensington MD studio, I wrote and recorded the original version in South Amherst Ma.

Another cover of an older recording I made in Amherst. Made a lot of changes, Billy suggested the snooty spelling of the title.

Primates - Fashion Fasciste

I recorded this with Jim Whittemore of the Scientific Americans in Northampton in 1980, he laid down the sequence, other synth and the original vocals. On this version I bounced the original 1/4" TEAC master to the Scully 280 1/2" at the Hampshire studio in South Amherst and stripped most of the original vocals at the time. A sample of Jim's original lyrics can be heard at minute 1:55. I added guitars, soprano sax, new vocals and some noise synth.

Concrete Snowflakes

This is the uncut version of Clandestine by Human Error. Human Error is Elliot Sharp: bass and bass clarinet, Jim Whittemore on synths and hand claps, Chris Vine on guitar, hand claps and "short" vocals. I played guitar and synth percussion. Recorded in 1979 in Northampton Massachusetts.

The Higher Primates is the name I used to record under back in the olden days when I played actual instruments. This is some of the stuff, both released and unreleased that I was doing back then.

On my newest pieces I create the sounds using natural sources that I find around the house and manipulate and layer them.
