made for Disquiet0471 - Phase Transition.
Made using a recording of ice cubes in a small glass of water captured by my Zoom H4n. This was played back in a number of ways, many using Vital.
Then I recorded some spoken word to build the atmosphere a little more. The lyrics are intentionally unclear so I won't list them here.

Ice cubes fall into a glass.
Recorded with a Tascam DR-100MKII + built-in mics Uni.
The Tascam is placed vertically on the glass, in contact.
A Pure data patch lets you hear the recording transposed to 3 voices  and brings out their harmonic components by spreading out them over time.
At the beginning we hear the untransposed sound.

Des glaçons tombent dans un verre.
Enregistrés avec un Tascam DR-100MKII + micros intégrés Uni.
Le Tascam est posé verticalement sur le verre, en contact.
Un patch Pure data fait entendre l'enregistrement transposé sur 3 voix et fait apparaitre ses composantes harmoniques en les déployant dans le temps.
On entends au début le son non transposé.

Following the destruction of the Khwarazmian Empire in 1221, the Mongol Empire's appetite for conquest to the west is whetted. It will take a few Great Khans to kick it off, but with the accession of Möngke to the throne in 1251, the way will be laid bare - to be led by his brother Hülegü Khan.
The only thing standing between him and the beating heart of Islam is a ragged band of heretics scattered across the mountain fortresses of northern Persia - a group known as the Nizari Isma'ili... or more infamously: the Assassins.
