This is a song about sunshine, rainbows, friendship, self-hatred, and existential depression. I once had this friend, and he wouldn’t hurt a fly, but lo and behold, one day while he was commuting to work at Chuck-E Cheese’s, he did accidentally kill a fly with the windshield of his ‘91 Mazda, so I just don’t know what to believe anymore. Needless to say, we’re no longer friends. I also can’t eat food anymore because I feel like shit all the time. But that doesn't mean I don't try. So, I took the local train to 57th street station and stumbled into a grimy Thai restaurant called ‘Jason’s.’ They also served ‘American’ food, and sold authentic New York Souvenirs. It smelled like piss and febreeze. 

I bought a pack of cigarettes, and read the times. I wasn’t hungry, so I ordered a fortune cookie. Unfortunately, that night, I got food poisoning from the fortune cookie and started vomiting the remnants of the cookie and some antidepressants that had been prescribed a while back by a well-respected family doctor. He told me to contact a therapist, but I never did.
