Slamboree is a live band with a Smörgåsbord of circus performers, daredevils and entertainers. We take each show as it comes, assembling a different crew from our collective for each show and every gig is very different to the last.

Musically we fuse bass-driven beats with live orchestra, guitars, percussion, loops, visuals, brass, accordian, pyrotechnics & circus. The genres bounce around breakbeat, dubstep, drum & bass, dub & electro swing fused with balkan, folk, and 'gypsy' flavours... all original & all live.

Within this very first year together we've been fortunate enough to perform our live shows at some amazing places such as Glastonbury Festival, Electric Picnic, Boomtown, Shambala, Beatherder, Kendal Calling and the River Thames in London. The next missile by the Renegade Squadron aims at the roots oriented reggae head directing into the ear canal to sooth and uplift the post war commercial battleground in a style reminiscent of 50’s jazz approaching an unmistakable blend of early Wackie’s colliding with Aretha on a laid back sweet treat highway in Autumn.

A sweet collaboration between Soom T Glasgow, and the Dub Master from near by Napoli. Now based in Barcelona, ‘Dub Master’ recorded the 8 piece band ‘…..’ to create the perfect backdrop to this spectacular bit of work with the usual love from Soom T, the Renegade Commander delivering direct from the source. The eternal quality of this one will prove to be just that, a timeless masterpiece you’ll find yourself rewinding time and time again.

The Veils return after the release of their critically acclaimed album Sun Gangs on Rough Trade Records last year and a string of sell-out shows in Europe and North America, with a new 6 song EP to be released on 24th January 2011.
The sessions were recorded at lead singer/songwriter Finn Andrews’ home studio in London over the summer and were overseen by producer Bernard Butler (Suede, The Libertines). Subjects covered include the pop music staples of love, betrayal, addiction and death - with bees, original sin and iPhones thrown in for good measure.
