'Young Lights' tells the story of finding a sense of belonging by trusting new feelings and experiences. The idea that young, not yet widely traveled lights are closer to the present, and therefore closer to the now, shines throughout the song. Through deep philosophical conversations, we discovered that waiting for a sense of home is futile—true home is found by making the moment your home.

“the place i use to hide” was born from an instrumental written by Melting Resonance in New York City and extrapolated on and sung by Yum Yuck in Cape Town. The song’s eerie and wistful production and lyrical themes speak of mixed feelings of isolation, frustration and rebirth. No longer running from your troubles or lovers but attempting to face them dead on. The intimate vocals and spaced-out synthesisers and guitars ebb and flow over a groovy drum and bass interplay that grounds the song.

‘Save Me’ is Beau’s most touching song yet, blending an achingly-yearning vocal performance with blissed out lo-fi instrumentals.  The track features delicate electronic flourishes, slow-burning percussion, and a colorful, ever-shifting soundscape.  The mood is hauntingly vulnerable.  Beau sings in an evocative, whisper-like tone, with heart-on-sleeve lyrics that plead for human connection.

From meeting at a rehearsal in a dimly lit garage to tying the knot five years later in marriage, Ian Dandridge and Kristina Westernik-Dandridge now set off to spread a much-needed message of hope.

Inspired by their honeymoon experience in the Californian desert, they decided to combine their love for creating and performing music, forming what they now refer to as 'The Infinite Daisy Chains'. The marriage secured their commitment to each other, and that emotion spills over into the duo's creative process.

Not all addictions are bad -- their obsession with musical gear offered them the tools to blend the meditative mood of downtempo electronic music with the expansive energy of psychedelic rock. With a seemingly ‘infinite’ sonic palette that sees them generate ideas from synthesizers, drum machines and an array of live instrumentation, their sound fuses Bedroom Pop and Neo Psychedelia in a way that is unique to them. This ethos reflects those artists which have shaped their sound, with The Flaming Lips, Gum, Pond, Tycho, and Beach House imparting heavy influence.

​Although the venture is new, they are both well established and trained musicians who have been creating music for years back in the DC Metropolitan area. Kristina specializes in the violin, vocals, and Ableton push, whilst Ian is the guitarist of the duo. As well as the pair boasting years of experience in playing synthesizers and drum machines, Ian and Kristina both produce for clients such as splice.com a music production platform for millions of creators.

​Collectively, their goal is to create and release a catalog of music that stands the test of time, and above all -- genuinely inspires the people it reaches. As the 'next generation' in a rich legacy of psychedelic pop, they want nothing more than for their reverb-drenched productions to serve as a salute to the music that brought the two of them together.
