I told ya part 3 would come out sooner than part 2! I'm proud to present to you the Afterbirth + expansion of The Binding of Isaac: Sacrilege! I put countless hours of work into each track, having fun with it, making some musical callbacks which I know you'll like! The Binding of Isaac: Sacrilege Pt. 3

This is the track for the Scarred Womb for my Soundtrack "The Binding of Isaac: Sacrilege." This track came together much faster than the other tracks because it relied more on an ambient feel rather than a driving rhythmic element, though I still added that in via the combat layer. Being able to use many of the same tools Danny used to make the original soundtrack, I felt proud of how the sonic palette of this song turned out! I hope you enjoy it!

Riven

Riven (Scarred Womb)

This is the track for the Blue Womb in my soundtrack, "The Binding of Isaac: Sacrilege." I wanted this track to stay within the same vibe as "Riven" as it's still within the same theme somewhat, but I added an extra piece of spice by adding a more ghostly and moany sound to this track. At the same time, I figured this would be the perfect track to introduce Hush's Theme, so see if you can hear it!

Perdition

Perdition (Blue Womb)

This is the track for the Void in my soundtrack, "The Binding of Isaac: Sacrilege." This track and "...Obliterate" were by far the most difficult to compose, as I really wanted to play around with the idea that this is the point in the story where Isaac's mind is collapsing, merging elements from every part of the game into one big finale, so I was struggling to figure out the best way to do that. I grabbed different elements from my past tracks and some from the original soundtrack to give that feel of themes, motifs, and melodies weaving in and out from each other. Listen to each part and see if you recognize any of em!

Desolate (Void)

This is the track for the Dank Depths in my soundtrack, "The Binding of Isaac: Sacrilege." This track changed my approach to the composition as it's one of the more "orchestral" sounding tracks in the game. Using "Dreadful" and "Latter Days" as my reference, I managed to get a similar vibe, as well as reuse some elements from the layers of those tracks! I especially enjoyed creating the ambient part of this track, as it gave me the freedom to really express the emotion of that point in the game.

Condemnation (Dank Depths)

This is the track for the Flooded Caves in my soundtrack, "The Binding of Isaac: Sacrilege." This was a fun but annoying track to create since I used a LOT of rhythmic elements. Around this part of the game, the vibe of the tracks like "Repentant" and "Atonement" were more percussive and filtered, so I made that my goal, and though I did accomplish that, mixing was a whole other obstacle. But I think this track is by far the most similar-sounding to the original soundtrack!

This is the track for the Burning Basement in my soundtrack "The Binding of Isaac: Sacrilege." This was the very first track I composed when I started Pt.3. I had actually made the idea for the track way before I released part 2, so you might tell that it sounds slightly different than the rest of the tracks, but it's still great! It would mark the first step in what would be my 6 month development of Part 3. I hope you enjoy it !
