I took the title from a call for slamdancing by the german fun punk band "Terrorgruppe". I always thought this wouud be a great title for a really hard song. It stuck in my head for years until I had this little idea. The lyrics are of course about slam dancing, but don't take it too seriously.

This demo of "Weekend Mohawk" was recorded by Frankie in an unknown motel room in Washington state Oct of 2014 using garageband, a usb microphone, and a casio keyboard. One of the batteries in the casio keyboard was loose creating a distorted bass sound that cannot be reproduced.

The band has released two EPs to date, all written, performed and produced by Yiğit Bülbül, a Turkish artist residing in Hackney.
