So this is the first in my series of 'Tracks from the smelly cellar' where I'll be giving away a load of edits/bootlegs/mash up/tracks I'd put together for my DJ sets & haven't seen the light of day yet.

This is a edit I put together of Tori Amos's 'Professional Window'. I actually edited a great nu disco bootleg that was made Social Disco Club & added extra beats, vocals, edits & bass. I wouldn't normally give away an edit of an edit but i think this one is different enough from both the original & their bootleg to warrant it. It's also had great reactions when I've played it out so thought I'd share the love!

I really wanted to give it an edge and bridge the gap between hip hop and bass, something that could be rocked in the club and big sound systems at festivals.   I've been focusing way more on sound design and synthesis as well as deeper in music theory and I am happy to share this one with you.

Audio Social 008 - SIADIC

Audio Social is proud to bring you the 8th instalment of the series, an all original unreleased mix by SIADIC. Their encompassing sound and textures seamlessly blend elements of electronic, traditional instrumentation, and sounds of ambient nature together to create a sonic deep listening experience.

Siadic is the collaborative creation between two brothers, Adam and Simon Whitaker-Wilson. Their style explores deep, progressive, and downtempo territory which captivates their audience through continuous hypnotic soundscapes. With classical instruments, Siadic bridges the gap between live performance and contemporary engineering of low-end sound. They have opened for Djrum, TMSV, Egoless, Jafu and showcased at Ciliate and Eye of the Storm in Vancouver. They have also performed at festivals across Western Canada including Bass Coast, Shambhala, Kamp Festival, and The Field Gathering.

Siadic has independently released several singles and EP's, and have become well known for their all original live sets. 2019 marked the release of Zenith EP, on Sensing Waves. 2020 has brought out a new sound featuring their latest EP release, Nadir.

Andrea Graham, known professionally as The Librarian, is a pioneering DJ, producer, label owner, and festival founder who has established herself as one of bass music's most influential creative forces and tastemakers. As the co-founder and music director of Bass Coast Festival – internationally acclaimed for its innovative music programming and immersive installation art – she has built an inclusive electronic music community that resonates with audiences worldwide.

The Librarian's dynamic performances seamlessly traverse the full spectrum of bass music, deftly moving between 130 breaks and adjacent techno to UKG, deep dubstep, jungle, juke and drum and bass. Her sets are characterized by powerful low-end frequencies with nuanced melodic elements and an intuitive understanding of dancefloor dynamics, creating deep connections with audiences across the globe. With a touring career spanning seventeen years playing clubs and festivals, she has refined her craft through countless transformative nights on dance floors worldwide.
Her extensive touring schedule has taken her throughout North America, Australia, Central America, and India, with landmark performances at some of the world's most prestigious venues and festivals. Recent highlights include a compelling set at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre and an electric 360 degree performance at The Caverns in Tennessee. The Librarian maintains a consistent presence in the electronic music scene by touring regularly and hosting her monthly radio show, Book Club. She continues to push creative boundaries with her own productions.
