Trance/Hard groove

Sean (TOSH) and I joined forces in creating this fun and energetic dance track that serves perfectly as a dancefloor stomper as much as it does for casual listening. The track features elements of hard groove techno with its groovy percussion, accompanied by some breaks and some Trancey/Eurodance elements with its plucky bassline and synths. 'FCK THA SUNSHINE !' makes sure not to take itself too seriously as we included a live recording of our mate Aran rapping what became the title of the track at the start and end of the song. This one is sure to reverberate around Dublin's dance floors.

Today's premiere comes from Aran Moore and Sean O'Sullivan as they debut their first track under their HyperFunk alias ahead of their first EP 'HyperFunk 001' which releases this weekend. The pair are notoriously known for their involvement in The Lounge which has been synonymous with some of the coolest parties Dublin has seen since their inception 2 years ago.

Puba's Groove acts as the duo's first official track release, the track combines pulsating basslines with catchy vocals alongside an array of gleeful stabs and ricocheting highs throughout. Resulting in a rhythm-inducing dance cut synonymous with bright, glimmering times.

As promoters, The Lounge has cut their teeth in Dublin in venues like Tengu, Wigwam, The Grand Social and more where they have welcomed the likes of 1905, DJ Pirna, Síofra, Becky, IZCO, Kjinn and more over the last 2 years providing a positive and fresh platform for exciting and capable artists to showcase their abilities to an exciting Irish crowd. This bank holiday weekend HyperFunk, Sella and Rían take to Cellar for their first EP launch party and 2nd birthday party as a party all-in-one.

HyperFunk was born out of the brainchild of The Lounge co-creators love and admiration for groove-based, feel-good dance music. Formerly known as The Lounge Residents they have enjoyed an illustrious 2 years running their acclaimed party right across Dublin City. The pair have enjoyed immense success in this short period, accumulating a lucrative slot at last year's Fuinneamh Festival while also supporting a wealth of dedicated local and international artists like MCR-T, Bailey Ibbs, Scruz, Shadylines, Dylan Fogarty, Pagan, Juicy Selekta, Tyvion Valentine, High Fidelity and 
more during this notable two-year period running and playing shows.
