Born in the dark streets of Cairo, grown to the unforgettable forests of Santa Esmeralda, spending its teen years in Bombay and Tangier markets, mature into the deep spacey Jungle of Ghana we proudly present you a new label from the land of the pyramids: SHANGO RECORDS invites you to an unheard world music psychedelic trip: like through a colorful kaleidoscope we will melt down Indian and Pakistani Vibes, Arab-Tek and Oriental groovy vibes, Afro-Beat rhythms n' pieces, Cumbia Tropicana flavors and cosmic Ghetto-Latin vibes into forbidden sounds of frenzied electronic dancefloor rituals. Outside traditional paths these driving grooves and polyphonic structures take the adventure seeking dancer to Dionysian highs and places never been before.

The Garden of Earthly Delights is the modern title given to a triptych oil painting on oak panel painted by the Early Netherlandish master Hieronymus Bosch, between 1490 and 1510, when Bosch was between 40 and 60 years old. It has been housed in the Museo del Prado in Madrid, Spain since 1939. As little is known of Bosch's life or intentions, interpretations of his intent range from an admonition of worldly fleshy indulgence, to a dire warning on the perils of life's temptations, to an evocation of ultimate sexual joy. The intricacy of its symbolism, particularly that of the central panel, has led to a wide range of scholarly interpretations over the centuries. Twentieth-century art historians are divided as to whether the triptych's central panel is a moral warning or a panorama of paradise lost. Bosch painted three large triptychs (the others are The Last Judgment of c. 1482 and The Haywain Triptych of c. 1516) that can be read from left to right and in which each panel was essential to the meaning of the whole. Each of these three works presents distinct yet linked themes addressing history and faith. Ephlum is getting lost in les Jardins des Delices. This is his second offering for Shango Records. This track can give you a panorama of paradise lost. Ohxala, Stephane Salerno and Yemanjo are giving music themes of history and faith.

We start the label off this year with a special debut by local Producer & Dj @lukeetaylor. "Headrush" is nothing short of . which is a result of his high musical erudition from years of experience. Luke has developed a truly unique sonic experience, hitting all the right spots, Each song having a strong narrative, intricate arrangements and pure feelings. A natural push and pull on the heartstrings.

Luke features three originals, with Headrush being our personal favourite which immediately caught our attention. It also features three remixes rounded off by international producer OX, who took a fresh and twisted approach to the original, an interpretation by Leeu, who headed in a more lucid dubby downtempo path & lastly, Vox Portent, who surprised us with a cheeky stripped back techno edit.
