A small spirit is lured by the vibrant sounds of an archaic ritual, that takes place where once a great deluge cleared the lands. Drudging over and under layers of ancient roots and sunken treetops, it makes its way through the thick undergrowth. It's primordial senses pick up intoxicating gases that seep upward while nearby bare feet get sucked rhythmically into the soft wet grounds of a great Quagmire. The sound of thickly skinned drums being beaten by hands that lived multiple lifetimes resonates through the backwoods. All amplified by plants once deemed poisonous by the intruders that left this place long ago, now revered by humans and animals alike, to connect with a deeper sense of their own cosmic identity.

Third track of four with Mr. Hemlock Smith. If i remember well, that one has changed a lot during the process. https://soundcloud.com/michael-frei-1 sent the piano and the vocals (that you can hear fully in the break at 03:00) and i did the rest of production.

 We re-recorded the vocal but at the end i kept the first draft. As always the first intention is always the best and its definitely the line i followed on this album. We played it live already for the label suisse concert. Link is below and sorry for the poor quality of the sound.
