This metalcore track tells the story of a warrior's relentless journey through war, inspired by the Trojan War. The lyrics depict the devastating toll of battle—death, destruction, and the cost of pride. Despite years of violence and loss, the protagonist’s unyielding spirit pushes him forward, only to return home after 20 years, facing the grim aftermath of his journey.

There’s a weight that comes with watching the world unravel—seeing history repeat itself, the same corrupt figures tightening their grip, the same cycles of violence, greed, and decay playing out over and over again. Council of Elders is that weight turned into sound—raw, unrelenting, and heavy with the kind of anger that festers when you realize nothing ever really changes.

The album is drenched in atmosphere, with cold, droning guitars, blast beats, and vocals that exist somewhere between a scream and a dirge. At times, it spirals into chaotic intensity; at others, it slows to a suffocating crawl, sitting in the discomfort of it all. It’s not meant to be hopeful. It’s not meant to offer solutions. It just is—like the feeling of standing in the middle of a collapsing empire and knowing you can’t do a damn thing to stop it.

This is the black metal album I’ve been working on to reflect the anger and helplessness I feel about the current political situation of the world.
