Today's word: Normally I briefly describe what each word is about. However the Lord gave me Psalm 81:9-10 to put here:

There shall be no foreign god among you;
Nor shall you worship any foreign god.
I am the Lord your God,
Who brought you out of the land of Egypt;
Open your mouth wide, and I will fill it.
This Scripture is an appeal for repentance and to turn away from idolatry. Please do not be fooled that only other religions worship idols, many in Christianity today worship their own opinions or their political party's promises. God told me to say this: Open the mouth wide means CRY LOUDLY TO ME, AND I WILL FILL YOU WITH THE PRAYERS YOU OUGHT TO PRAY. He also said that each one who cries and repents, cries and intercedes with their whole heart, that one will receive mercy for themselves and who they cry for.

To make a child "pass through the fire" refers to the ancient sin and ritual of offering a newborn (or even a full grown teenager or adult child) on an altar of human sacrifice.

Molech was one such god in the shape of a bull, a metal bull with a hollow belly where children and adults could be burned as a sacrifice. Sometimes the bull had "hands" extended; when the statue was burning hot babies would be placed into those smoking hands and fried as their parents offered prayers to the idol. Now the children of the world are sacrificed on a different altar: the bed of fornication and sexual pleasure.

THIS HAS BEEN ON MY HEART A WHILE. Repentance cannot work if we are dishonest. Read 1 John 1:5-10 carefully. The power of repentance is HONEST & FULL CONFESSION- What we have done. Why we did it. How we have a weakness for whatever we have a weakness for, and when it started. HOW WE'RE TEMPTED TO FOLLOW IT. We must confess sin AND STATE CLEARLY FROM THE HEART THAT WE KNOW WE BROKE GOD'S LAW AND NEED FORGIVENESS. We also need God's help to break the cycle. Too many people are unaware of (1) what sin is or (2) how deadly it is, that's because true teaching is largely absent from the church today. Nowadays it's all about how a person feels or what they want to believe but, I assure each reader, do not walk around with your sins upon you. The wages of sin is death. Lay those things honestly at God's feet today and be free.

There is an overwhelming MAJORITY of people who are deceived about even what basic Christianity is. Modern Churchianity has told us sympathy and 'being the good guy' is more important than doing what God expects of us as STANDARD BEARERS OF TRUTH. If you want to be popular with people this faith will not work for you, Jesus had a narrow walk and people often turned away from Him because they couldn't accept how narrow the way is. If you sympathize with sin more than you defend holiness, if you quickly defend sin allowing it to flourish but shush the real Body who want to root it out- "Don't judge, leave him alone, he's trying etc"- instead of speaking the WORD so sin and Satan can be defeated- you are a SYMPATHIZER OF SIN. Listen carefully to the Lord's message, without excuses, and take steps to confess and repent if this is you. The Lord is merciful to correct who will repent.

Repentance is the only thing that interrupts the process of judgment, humbling ourselves to seek God's forgiveness for departing His holy laws. Following our own desire only leads to destruction-, but confessing sin leads to God's promise to forgive and restore our record to righteousness. If we do not understand what repentance is we run the risk of thinking that REMORSE is the same as repenting, but it is not. We would also miss the core point of being able to repent- which is to apologize for distancing ourselves from the Lord and disdaining His laws in favor of what we want to do. In the path of doing our own thing He gets cast aside and overlooked, this is why we must repent to EVEN BE SHOWN THE WAY BACK from the darkness. WE CAN'T FIND OUT THE WAY BACK ON OUR OWN! Only when we confess our sin are we safely led back by the Holy Spirit into the protection that obedience gives us before the Lord. Repentance is therefore the only thing that prevents God's judgement, it is the most merciful mercy of all. [1 JOHN 1:8-9]

I have said this more than any other thing: Only those who have truly been forgiven and felt the freedom of God's grace blowing through their soul, can know what a truly GREAT MERCY it is to be able to repent. I've said that if all the souls who passed on could be revived and asked, "Would you do anything differently? If you had another chance what would you do?", those people would scream I WOULD REPENT!!!! I WOULD REPENT BETTER THAN I EVER DID BEFORE! That's because repentance stops the process of judgement and offers another chance. To still be able to repent is Yah telling you- "I SEE YOU and I'm warning you. Come away from the cliff edge. Come away from the fences. Clean your robes you sinners, so that I can share with you the fruit of the tree of life, and give you access to My holy city by its gates." [Revelation 22:14] This thing called Repentance, I will never stop saying it, it is the most merciful mercy of all. Shalom.

REPENTANCE: 'THE MOST MERCIFUL MERCY OF ALL"

"He who covers his sin shall not prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them will find mercy." - Proverbs 28:13

This means the only kind of repentance God accepts involves ACKNOWLEDGING that we have done things that break God's law (SIN), then CONFESSING those sins openly and with no excuses so that the perfect blood of Jesus Christ can cancel them and cleanse us of all unrighteousness.

"If we say that we have no sin we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." [1 John 18-9]

It is not correct repentance if we cover sin, if we make excuses for it, if we compare our sin to others ("But everybody does it!" "But mine wasn't as bad as hers!"). It is not repentance if we pretend sin is a small thing and that general attitudes of the time and popular culture excuse it. GOD IS A CONSUMING FIRE- We have have the proper reverence, respect and yes fear of the Lord, which is how you gain wisdom. God does not overlook transgression that is not repented of- not without confession, without a heart that says sorry and asks for mercy as per Psalm 51.

Repentance is God's extension of grace to a weak humanity that cannot deliver itself from the claws of satan UNLESS & UNTIL WE REPENT, so let us come now to the altar where there is mercy to cleanse away all evil from our individual accounts. Amen.

Some areas of our faith are UNDEVELOPED. That's just the way it is. Some areas have had 20 years (or more) to be highly developed: serving in the house, choir member, evangelist team, Bible study leader, pastor's right hand man. We let that become our identity: "I'm bold for Christ! I'm this & that for Christ!" Because we thought (and were taught) that the proof of true faith was how loud we can be.

Yes. Until it is tested. Until the test turns out to be NOTHING YOU EVER STUDIED FOR, then it's a two-second meltdown under pressure and why? BECAUSE THE DEVIL PUT PRESSURE ON JOINTS YOU NEVER THOUGHT ABOUT STRENGTHENING. What are those "joints" called?

Long suffering. Wisdom. Endurance. PATIENCE. SELF CONTROL.

Imagine an exam without a single question you studied for? It's a total Wipeout, zero percent cannonball fail as soon as you turn the paper over, and then what? 🤷🏽‍♀️

Failure is not what salvation & faith are for. We are saved as the bright reflective glory of the Lord Jesus Christ- "blazing as an army with banners" (Song of Songs 6:10) That takes practice.

Yah is showing us the final exam, for judgement purposes yes but also because He's the same God who told Noah how the test questions would include a boat, a lot of water and a great reset. Only 8 people "studied," the rest failed & ended up as "history". May that not be the fate of anyone who is planted here; listen & prepare now to get a good grade later. Later, in the long squat, you will "hold the posture" as long as He needs you to. The Lord does not abandon the righteous. Amen. 🙏🏽🌺
