Hello everybody! We are two guys from the Netherlands, trying to make our way into the music industry. We produce EDM and pop music. Every spare second gets invested in making music, promoting ourselves and learning new tricks to get our tracks to the next level! We both started playing the piano when we were six, and throughout the years we started writing lyrics and producing electronic music with FL Studio. After having a blast with FL, we decided to walk a new path: pop. We bought Logic Pro X and the rest is history :) Be sure to follow us if you want to see our newest tracks as soon as we upload them :)

If you need help, feel free to message us! We'll try our hardest to help you! We were all like you once, we all started from scratch. Thanks to the help we got, we are where we are today. Kristof Du Mon from Berchem near Antwerp (Belgium) is the man behind "The Mixing Chef". His passion is to cook Ambient and harmonic Downtempo music, flavoured by ingredients of all Downtempo and Chillout genres.

He experienced his love for music in earlier years through learning to play guitar by himself, but when he discovered how to produce chilled electronic music by using a computer, the idea for the project "The Mixing Chef" was born. He self describes his style as meditative trip, a smooth blend of many electronic chilled downtempo genres.

Mostly influences like Trip-hop, Chillstep and Ambient seasoned with love for Lounge define his music. His inspiration are artists like Massive Attack and CD-series like Cafe del Mar and Supperclub

If you See one of my tracks on a compilation album, please do not buy it. Some of my tracks have been circulating on compilation albums without my permission, and are often free downloads here on soundcloud!
