I'm a baritone guitarist and I play Instrumental Black Metal mixed with Baroque Music.

I started studying classical and electric guitar 23 years ago. 
After attending the Conservatory and playing live with various bands, I decided to continue on my own, dedicating myself entirely to composing instrumental pieces.

My old releases didn't have a well-defined genre, whereas future ones will focus on Black Metal that utilizes Musical Forms that were popular in the Baroque Period.

The project is funded by investors and made with the help of various people and AI based tools. The majority of the project is free to view in our archives, as well as some basic video content. 

Everything is now mixed and mastered within AI software, this sometimes leaves undesirable effects but we have decided its still better than sounding like a 2001 garage band. We no longer engage with other artists or collaborators of any kind.

A one-man hard rock/metal solo project from Norway by Jan Magne Garte. 

Born in Kristiansand in the south of Norway in 1971.
In '75 he and his family moved to the small village of Surnadal,and at the age of 16 he had started playing bass in different bands. His last band would eventually grow in popularity and open for some of the most popular Norwegian rock bands at the time.

By the early 2000s Garte had started a band with some of his best friends and expanded his repertoire by writing his own songs, singing and switching from bass to guitar. Around the same time his parental duties would start to take the focus from the music and his career as a musician would take a hiatus for almost two decades. 
Now after all this time, his love for making music has truly rekindled and the old musician has returned. 

All of his music is heavly influenced by the songs of his youth, from genres such as '80s hard rock, heavy metal, thrash, but also taking notes from the next generation of musicians.

Garte also has another solo project under the name LORRIDI.
