a wandering walk through a dark garden - title inspired by my friend Erol, who described being enamored with "riotous blooms" as a boy

this is the original version with bass drones. I made a second version (light) without drones that I think lends slightly different feel to the imagery of riotous blooms.

some extended techniques used: wire brush (background static) and pitch bends (for microtones, which you can't really hear, but they're in there!)

riotous bloom (dark version)

this is the alternate version of "riotous bloom" without the bass drones. I decided to create two versions because I really liked the lovely & bright blend of the top layers and its feathery interplay with the ambient static.
